Our dear friend and supporter, Laurentiu Rusen (thank you, Laur!), Vivi and Adara are guests of the extremely popular “A la chart de week-end”, with Bogdan Crutescu show on Radio Bucuresti (98.3 FM) every other Sunday. We are grateful to Bogdan Crutescu for his invitation, and we appreciate his support.

We play electro/industrial music between 7:30 and 8:00 pm and 8:30 and 9:00 pm (GMT+2). You can always watch the show live on http://www.bucurestifm.ro/, they’ve got a good livestream. Viva Music took the second step in making the dark gothic.industrial.synth music known to the Romanian audience on Sunday, December 5, 2010. Our dear friend and supporter, Laurentiu Rusen (thank you, Laur!) and Vivi were guests of the extremely popular “A la chart de week-end”, with Bogdan Crutescu show on Radio Bucuresti (98.3 FM) for the second time.

We talked about electro.dark.gothic.industrial music, the electro scene, the gigs Viva Music is organizing in the first months of 2011 (the third Darkwave.ro Fest, NIN live tribute and Combichrist). We are grateful to Bogdan Crutescu for his invitation, and we appreciate his support. It looks like he is turning into an electrohead himself!

Combichrist to support Rammstein at Nyc Madison Square Garden

Metropolis recording artists COMBICHRIST have been tapped as main support for RAMMSTEIN‘s first and only show on U.S. soil in ten years at NYC’s legendary Madison Square Garden. The show will take place on Saturday, December 11, 2010.

Rammstein and Combichrist are no strangers to each other. Both bands toured Europe together for four months in 2010, strengthening a tie that ultimately brought them together for what will undoubtedly be an amazing evening of beat-driven metal and industrialized mayhem.

While Rammstein will be returning from a tour of Latin America before this show, Combichrist will have wrapped up their previously announced U.S. Monsters On Tour with Aesthetic Perfection and Ivardensphere as support as well as a handful of dates in Australia. Due to the announced Madison Square Garden date, the previously announced New York City date on November 20th has been canceled (refunds available at point of purchase). In addition, the Montreal, QC on November 18th has been canceled as well. Replacement shows on those dates have been announced in Ithaca, NY and Pittsburgh, PA.

EXT!ZE (Mainstage)

Since 2007, CYB3ERELLA, CYB3RSLUT, IONIC MATRIX, CYB3ERCORE have released 3 albums and their music is very popular with cosmopolitan clubheads. It is very danceable and includes classical pieces such as samples from Carmina Burana. According to side-line.com: “This band can be the next sensation from the dark cyber electro scene!”.

EXT!ZE was the act closest to the hearts of the cyber-goth audience. They stirred the spirits of young cyber fans, and made them dance frantically to electro beats like no other although it was still early afternoon. Their soundscape is redolent of techno, trance, electro and some industrial as well – what’s there not to like?. The cyberaudience was ecstatic with this single 100% cyber band at AMPHI FESTIVAL. AMPHI FESTIVAL in Cologne, Germany is the smartest and most convenient festival I have ever attended. It was obvious on July 24 and 25, 2010 that the organizer had definitely worked very hard to make all the 16,000 participants feel entertained and satisfied.

The clout of this festival was made of: the participants (amazing crowd of amazing dancers and party people, donning wonderful outfits – sometimes the audience were better dressed than the band members), the organization, the venue (amazing view of the Rhine, beach bar and lounge, small and large places to sit down, terraces and benches, in the shade or in the sun, vegetation everywhere). The location gives you the feeling of an all inclusive holiday club with another 16,000 people who are also enjoying themselves to the max.

16.000 visitors celebrate at Amphi Festival

Dear Amphi fans,

Thank you for a fantastic weekend at the Tanzbrunnen, Cologne! Sold out for the second time in the six year history of the festival, 16.000 visitors from Germany and countries worldwide gathered in Cologne on 24. & 25. July 2010, to have a peaceful celebration in high spirits with 37 artists on three stages.

While And One and VNV Nation inspired the audience as headliners on the main stage, the “Staatenhaus” presented a true summit of the industrial- and electrolegends, featuring Skinny Puppy, Frontline Assembly and Project Pitchfork. Further ASP, Eisbrecher, Blutengel, Combichrist and many other Top Acts of the scene enthralled the audience with outstanding performances. Each day at noon the “Theater am Tanzbrunnen” opened with interesting talks, readings, musical comedy, film screenings and much more, before the party-area took command of the evening with more than 20 DJ´s from all over the world.

As you know, after the festival is before the festival. Like every year, you have the opportunity again to take part in our online visitor poll regarding the Amphi Festival 2010 and to win 5×2 VIP Tickets for the Amphi Festival 2011.
