Latest news about Kirlian Camera concert in Bucharest – 2 days to go!

KIRLIAN CAMERA + TANZ OHNE MUSIK in Control Club, April 29, 2011

An ELECTRONIK (www.electronik.ro) event, promoted by VIVA MUSIC

Take a photo of your soul with Kirlian Camera and Tanz Ohne Musik on April, 29, in an ELECTRONIK event promoted by VIVA MUSIC with support from CONTROL CLUB!

KIRLIAN CAMERA, a band that stands witness to the times we live in, takes an active and creative role in the metamorphoses of Italian pop into the genre of darkwave. For the first time in Romania, KIRLIAN CAMERA propose a show that fuses avant-garde and underground, with an opening from the most viral act of the club scene of the moment,  TANZ OHNE MUSIK.

In their thirty years of activity, KIRLIAN CAMERA got into every nook and corner of music, adding in the process defining marks to their style. With an unflinching belief in eclecticism as a motor of creativity, the music of KIRLIAN CAMERA was nourished by numerous collaborations, explorations of diverse styles, and the addition to their portfolio of several projects, among which we enumerate SEPULCRUM DEI, ALIEN MARTYR, STALINGRAD, SIDERARTICA or SPECTRA PARIS. At the same time, KIRLIAN CAMERA provided the musical score for art and experimental movies such as ”I ragazzi di Torino sognano Tokyo e vanno a Berlino”, ”Gli Anni Trenta” or ”Cosa c’entra con l’amore”. read the full story on electronik.ro!

Alter Red – “Mind-Forged Manacles” – Out May-02 – Viva Music Album Review

On May-02, UK act ALTERRED’s debut album, “Mind-Forged Manacles” is out at Ionium Records.

Download the free promo track “Like April Foolshere.

ALTERRED are: AlterRed – music * Vix Vain – images

ALTERRED live are: AlterRed – vocals * Vix Vain – synths * Mark Red – synths & piano * Jack Hell – bass

One of the most dynamic and original UK debut stage presences is, without doubt, ALTERRED. A cross-germination of niche musical interests that range from indie to darkwave, preserving at the same time a fundamental electro touch, stacked up on a flamboyant, conceptual and theatrical live show, ALTERRED claim their influences from a variety of cultural icons such as Depeche Mode, NIN, IAMX, Marilyn Manson, David Bowie, Danny Elfman, Hans Zimmer, VNV Nation, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Christopher Nolan, Tim Burton, Ridley Scott.

A 2008 product of the London musical scene, what ALTERRED propose is, avant-garde piano mashed up with electro samples and soaring, haunting vocals. To back up, a complete contemporary mythology, coming with surreal characters and surroundings create the universe of ALTERRED. KMFDM, Assemblage23 and Combichrist are just a few of the names who shared the stage with ALTERRED. (more…)

WTF?!, the band’s new album released on Metropolis Records, joins the ranks of their many records titled with a five character name.”  (Metropolis Records)

In January we shared the great news of a new release from KMFDM, entitled “WTF?!” (European release: KMFDM Records / Dependent Records). Now that it’s here, we can rejoice even more in their 17-album history now that new material is out! December 2010 meant the release of the first track of the album: in the heat of the Wikileaks debate, KMFDM decided to make available the song “Rebels in Kontrol”  on the band’s website in December as a show of support for Wikileaks editor-in-chief Julian Assange, and was streamed more than 75,000 times in two days. Jesus and the Gurus announce a new album on April-15!

The world trembles in fear – Jesus and the Gurus announce a new album!
No honeysweet melodies and mellow synth-sounds but brute Industrial merged with cynical lyrics against everything moving. With their new album „Wut+Zorn=Revolution (Anger+Rage=Revolution)“ Jesus and the Gurus give a new definition to Industrial-Metal. Iron noises and dirty analogue synths meet distorted walls of guitar-sounds and martial marching rhythms lead by a dark, deep voice. What originally constituted Industrial – rebellion, aggressive sounds of steel, staccato rhythms and a doomy atmosphere – is reawakening to new life with Jesus and the Gurus(more…)

Polarlicht 4.1 and Flint Glass join forces for common release on April-15!

These two well known projects in industrial oriented electronica  scene, Flint Glass and Polarlicht 4.1- Transistor join their efforts in  this 10 track collaboration concept album inspired by the famous novel  “La nuit des temps” by French author René Barjavel. It reveals a  balancing act between industrial-noise, experimental music and cinematic  dark electronica evoking imaginary places and an arctic, icy atmosphere.

Zoran’s Equation” is based mostly on track-sources from Polarlicht  4.1’s hypnotizing arranged soundscapes supplemented by Flint Glass‘s  rhythms constructions, dark atmospheres and background noises, arising  to a rarely heard combination.

Two artistic minds fused into one, creating a movie with sonic turbulence and heavy surging movement heaves restlessly, reminiscent in  places of the sound of one’s own muffled breathing heard under ice – the  sound of an uneasy sleeping landscape as dense waves of sound  reverberate in rhythmic complexity.

A concept album for anyone who has a liking for dark ambient music,  experimental electronica, noisy sounds and especially for those  listeners who appreciate both projects solo efforts.

Kinetik Festival, May 19-23 in Montreal: News!

A non-profit organization founded by a partnership between KAO Production, EBEN Production & [i] Prod to promote the North American Electro-Industrial-Noize scene, Kinetik Productions is proud to bring you back after the success of the last editions, the Kinetik Festival from May 19 to 23 2011 in Montreal, Canada. Don’t miss your chance to be part of this unique experience with some of the best acts of the Electro-Industrial scene performing during those four days!

The kinetic energy (also called in the old writings live viva, or sharp force) is the energy which a body because of its movement has. The kinetic energy of a body is equal to work necessary to make pass says it body of the rest to its current rotation and translatory movement.

It is Guillaume d’ Ockham (1280-1349) who introduced, in 1323, the difference between what is called the dynamic movement (that we generate) and the kinetic movement (generated by interactions, of which collisions).*
